Authentication (X-API-Key)

External integrators need an API key for top stats and play logging. Your own pages on audio.icejockey.app can keep working without a key (same-site via Origin/Referer).

API key required:

• GET /api/stats_top.php

• POST /api/track_play.php

Public:

• GET /library.json

• GET /api/health.php

Rate limiting (recommendation)

If you open the API publicly: consider e.g. 60–120 req/min per key and ask integrators to dedupe logging (cooldown per track).

Tip: log only if played at least 5s and at most once/min per track per client.
